Pharmacy, acceptance rate?

Does anyone know the acceptance rate of the PharmD program at NU? thanks

Yes, I would like to know the answer to this question too.

Yeah, me too

Me too haha

Me five.

@ikutatomaluv, didnt you already get into NU PharmD program last year?

me too! lol
i’m waiting for northeastern pharmd EA notifications!!! :open_mouth: so nervous

Same here. I’m extremely nervous! good luck everyone!

I know this is looking really ahead, but my friends are always telling me I’m going to have the most boring life counting pills.

Thoughts?

Are your friends pharmacists? If not, they don’t know what they are talking about.

They are probably jealous that you may be qualified for a well paying profession with little chance of unemployment.

My sister, her husband, and a lot of their friends are pharmacists and it seems like they’re too busy to ever really get bored.

Haha that’s crazy. my brother and his wife went to MCPHS are are pharmacists too and they always seem stressed out

From what I’m hearing from other people, the range of accepted pharm majors from last year may range from 10%-25%… But the applicant pool is definitely getting more competitive every year. (However, note that, you should expect to be surrounded by people who are aiming for A’s… especially if you’re placed in Honors).

did any of you get in what were your SAT and GPA like? I am applying and seem to be just as stressed and nervous as you all were!

lol can we get this thread started up again??

also have you guys heard of early assurance programs?? I’m sooooo confused on their differences with 0-6 programs… I know Northeastern is 0-6 while OSU is early assurance, but I have no idea how early assurance differs from 0-6

IDK what OSU’s program is like but here are the details on NEU’s, along with sample classes each semester and co-ops and all: http://www.northeastern.edu/bouve/pharmacy/programs/pharmd/

I was accepted this year for early action to the 6 year pharmacy program!
SAT: 2030 (1360/1600)
GPA: 3.7 UW/ 4.83 W
9 APs and the rest honors
Decent ECs, essay, and recommendations

Good luck to you all!
