Hi I am currently extremely interested in attending UPitt as a pre-pharmacy major and really want to get the conditional acceptance. My grades and other stats are all above range for pitt except my ACT scores are not strong. On the website it is stated that you need a 29 composite ACT score to be considered for the conditional acceptance. I have a 28 and it’s so frustrating because they don’t superscore ACT tests. I am going to sign up for the oct ACT but those scores won’t be released until at least nov 4. I know UPitt is on rolling admissions and they only give around 50 students conditional acceptances. Do you think all the spots will be taken by mid november if wait to turn my in my app then? Or would it be possible for me to turn in my app now with my 28 ACT and if I get accepted can I send my oct ACT scores (hopefully they are above a 29) to admissions in hopes of receiving a conditional spot?
@mk2112, I would encourage you to contact our office and talk through your specific situation with one of our admissions counselors: 412-624-7488 or oafa@pitt.edu.
Best of luck!
A Pitt Admissions Staffer
@mk2112, definitely get in touch with them. I would apply as soon as possible and send all ACT scores you have so far.
