Pharmacy

Rutgers is one of a handful of 0-6 Pharmacy schools in the country. I’m a sophomore who is looking into the school; however, information about the competitiveness of admissions to the pharmacy school is hard to come by. If anyone who got into, or was rejected by, the pharmacy school could post their stats, I would be very grateful.

Thanks,

According to the school, there are no minimum standards. Telling was that the Assistant Dean was surprised that someone with a 1500 SAT was rejected. Turned out the student had poor science grades, with great grades in all the other classes.

His original surprise that someone with a 1500 was rejected tells me you can get in with scores quite a bit lower.

I do believe the bar is raised each year, as the volume of applications continue to rise. I was told at a Rutgers online chat that the Pharmacy school received 3,600 applications for Fall 2006 admissions, and accepted 600.

Good luck!
