I am currently applying to a PhD program in the history. I am working at a university archives (almost three years); I hold a master degree in history and have a 3.46 G.P.A.; published three academic book reviews; have done two presentation on a national level. Moreover, I am a volunteer researcher for a political science professor who is writing a book about the political history of ethnic and racial groups in Chicago. What are the chances I will be able to be accepted into a program?

It depends on the history program and university.

Good chances at any uni but depends which one
