I'm a junior at UCI and I was wondering when (i.e. what week of the quarter) do Phi Beta Kappa members receive offers to join this honor society. Secondly, how are they notified?</p>

<p>I have no idea how it works at different schools but I heard maybe a month ago (via e-mail from the chapter head). When does your school have its graduation ceremony? Usually there is an induction ceremony at or around the graduation ceremony so they have to announce the results beforehand. Talk to seniors at your school to find out if any of them heard.</p>
<p>The top 1-2% of juniors of their school will get email invites. Top 5-8% of seniors get invites by email.</p>
<p>However, that’s only to be elligible (by GPA), they will then screen by courses that you take to make sure you are well rounded (ie taking courses outside your major, like a bio major taking humanities classes, etc)</p>
<p>Invites come Spring quarter, usually after week 4. It varies because they don’t notify in batches.</p>
