also- not many students have fish because they can be a pain to find a home for over breaks and if you don’t clean their bowl enough they start to smell. if you are willing to clean the bowl and feed them, though, they’re a nice addition to a room and people usually find them pretty cool</p>

<p>Have any juniors/freshman recieved their dorm assignments yet? I live in the midwest so I tend to get things later then other people I know that are going so I was just wondering if I should be expecting mine anytime soon.</p>

<p>OK, for juniors/freshmen out there who want to know their dorm assignment early, I have a trick for you. Now I can’t garantee it would work 100%, but well it’s better than nothing. Here it is. On panet, you click on “class schedule”, then click on the link “course list” at the top. You shouldn’t see any course there as they havent’ been assigned yet, but you should see your academic advisor’s name at the top. As juniors, your academic advisor and house counselors are the same person, so you can figure out who your house counselor is right? Search for his/her name in faculty directory, and you’d know what dorm he/she is the couselor for. There you go.</p>
<p>Okay well I already figured that out and I am pretty sure that I am in Doublebrick, but I wanted to know who my roommate is and I was wondering when we found that out.</p>

<p>I’ve been in the dorm and it’s really nice because it was renovated about 2 years ago, as you can see from the link. The house counselor, Ms. Carter, is just great.</p>

<p>Ms. Carter is amazing. The rooms in Isham are nice nice, if I remember correctly. Not the absolute best on campus, but they’re relatively new and not tiny.</p>
<p>FWIW the 3rd picture in the link lemonade1 gave is the faculty apartment at Isham, not a student room, so don’t get your hopes <em>too</em> high :-P</p>
<p>Any pics or info about the Rockwell? Is WQS a good cluster for a junior to be in? Seems Rockwell is the only junior dorm in the cluster and is shared by both quads. Means too few juniors in the cluster?</p>
<p>Even half of Rockwell is a decent number of freshmen, but don’t forget about day students. They’re in every cluster as well. Some clusters are more freshmen-heavy than others, but it doesn’t really matter. Your cluster affiliation only matters at a few points during the year like orientation, cluster meetings, a few cluster competitions, etc.</p>

<p>I just recieved an email from the dean of students saying that we will get our dorm assignments in the coming weeks and no later than August 20th.</p>
<p>have they taken the academic advisors’ names down? whenever i click “my schedule” (i don’t see “class schedule” anywhere- am i looking in the wrong place?), it just says that the schedules aren’t available yet, no link to a course list or anything.</p>
<p>Yeah they used to have a blank schedule up for everyone but they took it down a few days ago.</p>
