<p>I am going to be an industrial engineering major at UCF this coming fall. However, I have strong interest in philosophy and think that it is a very important subject to study.</p>

<p>I've heard it's a good program...but keep in mind that science/engineering is the priority here at UCF...philosophy/liberal arts is not a high priority here...</p>
<p>With these budget cuts, philosophy classes are going to be on the chopping block, so you might have difficulty finding exactly what you want...</p>
<p>well, the philosophy minor's not going away but it will be difficult to get the classes you want. I would advise joining Honors or LEAD Scholars (or both--I did) so you can have priority registration and register for classes earlier.</p>
