Philosophy vs. Neuroscience

Ok so basically I have been going through a back and forth in my head for the past month. I am currently enrolled as a philosophy major intending to go on to med school. However, I have been reconsidering as science has always been stronger than writing for me even though my writing is still good. I need some input/advice on how I should decide and maybe some pros and cons of choosing each major. Thank you in advance

are you me, 4 years ago? I was a pre-med social studies major and am now a neuro major.

Really, no rush to choose either… you’ll fall into whichever is a better fit. I decided on behavioral neuroscience after taking Intro to Psych, and then Melloni’s Psychobiology class. Might be a good idea to take a few courses in each major. If you wind up a neuro major, those philosophy courses will fill core reqs and just add some elective credit. If you stay in philosophy, both psych and psychobio will be nice on a med school application, so you really can’t go wrong.

Wow, Emily I couldn’t have asked for a better person to answer my question. Right now I’m feeling like I would rather start off with Neuro and then maybe experiment with other majors, do you think that’s rushing things?
