Phone call from school.

I just got a phone call from a school I was rejected from (Tufts). They were looking for a parent. Any idea why they would call? If something went awry in the decision/notification process, why wouldn't they just tell me?
Thanks

maybe your parents called them to try and appeal and they are responding to them.

no, they didn't

anyone else?

They wouldn't ask for your parents if it was about YOUR admission decision. They would talk to you. Your parents didn't fill out the application, did they? (No, they didn't).

No, but it doesn't make sense why else Tufts would call.. that's all

I agree. Weird situation.

Keep us updated.

maybe uve been diagnosed with an incurable, fatal disease.
sorry im not helping..

Or maybe, you applied and your parents didnt want you to go so they called the school and secretly made a huge donation so that they would NOT accept you and now they are calling your parents to ask if its ok if they name the new building your parents donation paid for after you anyways. lol. sorry...I have no idea. weird situation. Please let us know!

so... did you give the phone to your parents, or were they not there?

Maybe their application fee check bounced?

Who now is going to pay a school that rejected their kid? It seems a little late for that. :)

So what happened? What did they want?
