Phone Call?

<p>Sorry if this post is kind of silly but it's KILLING me because the admissions office is closed. I'm in the 2nd pool for transfer applicants and I received a call today from an admissions counselor. Unfortunately, I was at work all day so I didn't get the message 'til 5:30 EST this evening and they just said to call them back. :( I know that decisions were supposed to be given out today. </p>

<p>My question is does Smith typically call you only if you get in, or do they also call to tell you that you've been rejected? I really don't want to get my hopes up. I wasn't really expecting much from Smith anyways because I got wait listed at Mt. Holyoke. </p>

<p>I'm a transfer who was accepted and received a phone call. They called me a week or so before I received my acceptance letter. Maybe you can check Bannerweb!</p>

<p>You should call and see what happens. I really don't know how acceptance announcements are made. Anything is possible!</p>
