i got a phone interview w/ BlackRock. They want to call me this Thursday and I just got their email today. I need more time to prepare, should I ask them to change the date? Also, what will they be asking me? I'm so nervous T___T PLEASE HELP!

Is this BlackRock interview in Boston by the way? For... software developer?

Haha, I just finished the phone interview and got an acceptance a week prior. I am wondering if the HR person you are speaking to is Andre?

My phone interview was with the VP of technology at the New York office. It lasted 15 minutes. The in-person interviews with VP/HR/Analysts are more important I think. Just be yourself, and relax.

Also: I'm not sure what internship this is for, but read up on the company beforehand; I am talking about the Merrill Lynch M&A of course.

But yeah, wow. Small world!

*Banc of America Securities called me yesterday about a summer internship. I don't know if that's bad luck or what, but I could not retract my acceptance, so I had to turn down the guy.. who was a college alum of mine. AhhH!!!. BlackRock seems nice though =)

Change the date if this is for finance/buy/sell or any numbers work, and if you are too nervous since this is short notice. But the interview is to see if you fit the job, so just be yourself.

i'll take your banc of america internship
