Photo of Fragrance Garden

Finally, somebody took a good picture of one of the nicest spots on the Swarthmore campus -- the courtyard fragrance garden between the Clothier bell tower and Tarble Social Center. The little courtyard is just enchanting and is planted with great smelling flowers and shrubbery, but nobody ever gets a picture that really captures it.

This one is good:

The student center, snack bar, bookstore, party space is in the building to the left.

Ha, that place is really pretty.

People are rarely there, though. I don't know what they could do to give it more use. It has such nice grass...

The other litte tucked away place on campus that I really like is the English garden and goldfish pool behind the Scott Arboretum offices.

BTW, I've really been enjoying all the photos you've been running in the Gazette and posting on the Flikr site.

Glad you like them.

That's really beautiful; thanks for posting. :)
