Photography Portfolio Questions

Hello everyone! I am going in to my senior year of highschool and I need some help with my photography portfolio. Although I will probably add some new photos before I apply to schools (Parsons, FIT, SVA, etc), I am having trouble deciding as of now what I want to put in my portfolio and what I should leave out.

Photos/Artwork I am considering: https://skydrive.live.com/#cid=c82c4a42ff0accd6

Many of the photos I included are cliche and I doubt I will include (faucet, water drop, simple portraits) But I figured I would throw them in there to show some range.

Some problems/questions I have:
1. I feel as though many of my more striking photos are manipulated. If I am submitting a portfolio of 9-12 pieces how many is too many photomanipulations?

I am not a very strong traditional artists, but I do really like some of my sketches (more so than many of my "finished" pieces). Most the schools I'm applying to don't require traditional drawings in a photography portfolio, but should I put one or two in anyways?

Simply deciding which are my strongest pieces, especially when comparing photos from a series.

Thank you!

Elena,
IMO, your strongest picture is titled ‘DSC_0022’, the image of the boy with freckles. I’d love to see you do a series of 5 images in this style.
Best Regards,
