Photos!

okay, major freaking-outage here. where did you guys take your photos? i've called passport places, and they've told me that their photos are all 2x2 (cuz that's the gov't regulation or something.) the wallet-size photos at regular studios are larger than 2x3... so i really don't know what i'm doing here. please help? thanks!

I'm just using wallet-size graduation photos. Yeah, it's slightly larger than 2 x 3, but that takes care of the staple and I'm sure Stanford will crop it. I'm a bit worried about the "head and shoulders" part of it though, all of my photos have my torso and some are even full length. I think I'll send them anyway. Heck, Stanford is supposed to be relaxed...

Just take passport sized photos.

hmmm okay, thanks for the advice guys :) i guess i'll just go take whatever's available and hope it works. and if not, i guess the worst they can do is send my pics back and make me take the correct ones (whatever they are.)

My mother came up with a better idea that we're going to do. I'm going to make 4 x 6 copies of graduation photos and then just cut them so that they're 2 x 3 of my head and shoulders. Still, I wouldn't worry too much about it since it sounds like the 5 photos are just going to be looked at.

I went to CVS and they were able to make the pictures for me. They had to make it 2 by 2.8 but thats close enough

Just scan a few of your photos, then use photoshop, fireworks, or even a simple image editor like Microsoft Paint to adjust the size, etc. and lastly print them using HP Photo Paper on high quality!!

are they supposed to be 5 different photos? or 5 of the same one?

Same or different, doesn't matter. From the website updates page, it says 3. The photos can be all the same image, or different images; the choice is yours! They will be going to a variety of different departments, and so it doesn't matter if they are uniform..
