Don't think we won't forget about you B. Mateus. ;)

Hehehehehe...

noooooo, crap

Hey, not all of charlie is dumb, lol, cut us some slack

Hey now... my bad. Lt Col Widmann said that cadet Curry is a she. He clearly is not as I was briefed by him today. Several other preppies made the same false distinction (granted they didn't post their false distinction over the internet, but whatever). It was a mistake I won't make again. I sure don't want to have to do " sir, you're a sir, not a ma'am, sir. one sir." To mateus: dude you sold out another preppie. Don't think I'll forget that. To everyone else: don't think you're clever by by looking me up on Global. My 9 year old brother can do that. I didn't have a "clever screen name" because I am not scared, you don't have to threaten me I know that what I am getting into: this is the Military, the Air Force -- and the Academy does not even consider any of the "Chair Force" BS. C2C Curry has my sincere apologies, and anyone who is HIS friend or knows has my apologies for insulting your friend.

I truly believe everyone was just having a little fun. I am sure you will be measured like all others when you arrive. No need for special attention, or project making unless you do something in your squadron that causes that. Everyone will get a chance in the hot seat.

Relax Duran, you've got nothing to prove to us nor do we care that you didn't hide behind a screen name. When June comes, you are just another Basic, like anyone else.

Duran, calm down. Like everyone else is saying, you'll just be another Basic on I-day (unless you intentionally make yourself stick out in a bad way during the first couple of days). We all known that if you were afraid, you probably wouldn't have accepted an offer from the P-school.

OK thanks. Sorry if i went overboard, it's kinda hard to understand tone on a message board. Y'all are very respectful and I appreciate it. Now if you'll excuse me I am going to disappear from this forum forever! haha.

I love the CC forums...

:-P

Ha yeah, relax. We're all just playing around. (...and besides, I don't think anyone would mess with C/Curry if they legitimately knew who he was. ;))

As long as you're not this guy, you'll be fine.

How was the briefing, by the way?

It was alright, but the only thing we learned was that we get ABUs for certain, and what kind of boots to pre-buy. Theres not much else he could have told us except give us the schedule (which would ruin all the 'fun'). Most of the info we were already given by cadre during our BMT or during the year or cadet friends on the Hill. Good to know who he is though, who to look for, next year during BCT.

So does 2012 need to get the Belleville 650s?

Yea, Cadet Curry seems like a nice guy :)

Most cadets are nice people. That does not mean we will make it easy.

"It's supposed to be tough. Being tough is what makes it great. If it were easy, everybody would do it."

yea i learned that here haha

I remember seeing that on the wall when I was there for SS, and it is one of the reasons I want to come

Yes the official boot is the Bellville 650 waterproof sage green. It was expressed clearly that no other boot will be allowed.
