physical therapy?

hey. I am a junior, and looking into PT at Northeastern. I was wondering what kind of SAT scores and GPA students that were admitted usually have? Any help would be great! Thanks.

PT at Northeastern is a competitive program to get into. My daughter has a 3.7 GPA and 1120 SAT's and is waitlisted (still!). Also look at Ithaca College, Quinnapiac, BU and UConn. They have programs that will accept you as a freshman through to a MPT or DPT. Good Luck!

thanks, if you don't mind me asking.. where did your daughter get accepted?

She was accepted to Ithaca College, Rutgers, WVU and waitlisted at UConn and Northeastern. She loved the program at Ithaca, but didn't like the college itself (she is looking for a bigger school) or the town. Rutgers is too close to home for for her taste, so right now she has accepted the 4 year Exercise Physiology program at WVU and will then either look to transfer to Northeastern (if she doesn't get off the waitlist) or stay and then look at grad school.

She is still hoping to get off the waitlist at Northeastern though. They have an outstanding 6 year program.

What schools are you considering?

Northeastern is on the top of my list, I love Boston. Also, Ithaca, UConn, Quinnapiac.. Rutgers is way to close for my liking as well.

I think the University of Hartford has a PT program that accepts Freshman also. If I remember right, its an MPT degree.
