physics 8a prerequisite

I took AP Calculus AB in high school, and I'm assuming I passed the exam with at least a 4. Does anyone know if I'll be able to take physics 8A? Because I know math is a prerequisite to taking that class.

you are going to be fine. the use of calculus is very light in this course, mostly just during lectures when the professor is deriving formulae, but it is involved in way less than 1% of homework and test questions.

Rider is correct. I would say there is essentially no use of calculus in 8A.

There is minimal use of extremely, extremely easy integrals (which almost always simplify) in 8B.

Don’t worry at all.
