Physics 8B With Fajans.

I want what you’re smoking berklebear. Give it to me now.

Actually, i don’t smoke haha I would like to, but i probably have ocd and it would ruin me if i did.

…and now he posts the homework.

Now I can add Answer questions on masteringphysics about material that Fajans never covered or did examples of in class to my to do list along with Study for 2 midterms next week

he wrote in the email that this weeks problems will be less easy than the ones before… like the ones before were piece of cake or something

he should just make it due thursday cuz thats when he ends up uploading the hwk every week.

assigns homework three days late.
gives us one extra day.
nice job joel.

never works an actual problem (with numbers) in lecture
never gives answers to questions in workbook from section

he is probably more than usually distracted by the happenings at CERN this week

That’s fine and all but this is his job. If he doesn’t plan on instructing this class properly maybe he should let someone else teach it (someone who can actually teach).

ohmygod the midterm is thursday and i don’t know anything o_O

So…I don’t get it…we’re not allowed calculators but it’s going to be like mastering physics?

Also do you guys think we’re going to need to integrate on the exam?

most of the problems we’ve encountered on MP hasn’t really required us to integrate, so I doubt it… and since he claims to grade “holistically” he’ll probably give a decent amount of credit for set up.

he does give you a lot of credit for work and the numbers are okay to work with.

I don’t know, maybe he’s changed, but he basically took a problem off MP for one of the questions too. At least he did when I was in 8a. Of course then he got semi-angry once he realized that that threw off test scores…lulz.

lol me neither.

Oh god…

what happened

Studying for physics happened. If only there were some structure to this class or some expectations for what we need to know how to do, I’d be able to review concepts a lot more efficiently.

Here’s a list of what you should know:

Everything.

lol yeah exactly. I mean just know everything from chapter 20-27. duh. lol

did anyone think that the stuff isnt too bad once you sit down and started studying it? or is it just me :P
