Physics Honors?

Is this class hard? More like chem or bio?
I'm more of a memorization person just so you know. I'm also not super good at science and I try hard.
I'm in bio now, A grade but test/quizzes in B+ to A- range. I'm a freshie!

This is for Junior year. I might take AP bio instead. Or I'll take Physics honors junior yr and have APbio senior yr.

Thanks!

Physics is not a memorization class lol

It’s very conceptual, and not very visual. You have to understand it based on what’s explained, and you’ll have to just accept things taught to you for a while until you learn enough to completely understand the logic behind them. Physics is very different from Biology, and more related to Chemistry in that it tends to be easier for students already demonstrating strength in mathematics, and harder for those with weaknesses in such areas.

@BipolarBuddhist I agree with you except for the fact that I think Physics is very visual. It might just depend on the person but the potential for visual reasoning is there for one to explore. It’s pretty hard to work with the right hand rule dealing with the forces acting upon a proton in an electromagnetic field if you can’t see what is going on. If you’re dealing with a cannonball being shot, the equations might be more straightforward so you don’t have to visualize it as much, but you definitely have to be able to see the times when it is going up and when it is going down, which takes speed and gives it an extra dimension to make it velocity. I could go on and on and on about this, but visualization is definitely an option for someone to use if they are having trouble following the logic.
