Physics SAT II

Would it be possible for me to self-study for this test by October/November? I'm a Senior now and I haven't taken physics since Freshman year, and that class was only pre-Ap.

If so, which study book(s) should I get?

It will be tough. Physics is one of the hardest subject tests. If you are going to, I advise that you get Princeton Review and Barrons.

Good luck. If you have any physics questions, PM me.

Ok, thanks for your reply. If anything I might drop the idea and just take Math II and Literature.

Physics is manageable if you’re a science type person. The curve on the SAT II is ridiculous which makes it easier than you think to get a high score/800. I took it in June and left like 6 or 9 blank and still got 800, and the official collegeboard guide claims you can omit like 14 or 15 questions and still get 800.

You should be able to do it if you put the time in. I took the subject test at the end of my junior year when I was taking physics but my teacher only taught us 20 - 30% of the material. I managed my time poorly and had to rush through the Princeton Review book in about a week but I still pulled off a 720.

I’ll get the PR book and give it if shot. Thanks for your replys.
