Few questions about SAT II Physics

Would it be possible to self-study and take an SAT prep course for the SAT II Physics test and still score high (preferably 800), even though I am currently taking Physics 1 at my high school (currently a sophomore)?

I don’t know if this helps, but I have a fairly strong background in maths (taking precalculus right now, and received 800’s on SAT I Math and SAT II Math Level 2).

I’m planning on studying from now until the June test date (06/06/09).

About how many questions can I get wrong or omit to score an 800?

What are some good SAT prep books for physics? Barron seems to be needlessly difficult, and some people suggest using Princeton, while others suggest Kaplan… so :S

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Bump.................?

It would be possible to get an 800. If you are planning on taking more physics classes next year, I would suggest you to take it then because it saves you a tons of studying time.

I heard something like 8. The physics curve is really high.

I used Kaplan, and never looked at Princeton Review for SAT physics. Kaplan was pretty good, but Princeton Review has an awesome AP physics prep book so I would imagine they have a good SAT physics book.

Took SAT Physics at the end of Physics B, got 750.
