Physics Subject Test

Well I mindlessly took the SAT 2 Physics and got a 710. Is this bad? Apparently all the schools I'm applying to ,other than Reach(MIT, U of M), does not require the SAT 2. However, If i get a higher grade, will schools see this grade at all?

Is it worth it?

Well, I got a 740 on physics which isn’t a huge amount better.

Is Physics B AP enough background to take Subject Test?

I would say so sir. I had only a simple physics course before taking this test. It was fairly easy with exception to the advanced topics.

AP Phys B does match a lot of the requirements for the tests.

Physics B should be ample preparation.

If I take the Physics Subject Test in December and I am currently enrolled in AP Physics B, which prep books do you guys recommend getting to prepare well for it, considering I won’t have more than about a semester in the course and I don’t want to take biology and chemistry subject tests because I don’t like the subjects as much as physics and I am not as good at them? I currently only have 2013- 2014 Kaplan for SAT Physics that I got for free
