Is going from a physics undergraduate degree to astrophysics for graduate school possible/likely? I haven’t taken any astrophysics courses, but could maybe get into one next year as a senior (my own campus doesn’t have any astrophysics courses, but one of our partner campuses does). I’m also doing research in astrophysics this summer.
Not entirely sure if I want to do astrophysics or another area, but I’m first just trying to figure out what my options are.
Happens all the time, no worries. You might be asked to take some additional courses but it should not be a problem.
