<p>Hey guys, do you know when freshmen start picking their classes and choosing their schedules for freshman year?</p>
<p>Did you get your packet in the mail? You should go on peoplesoft (Sarah . Williams . Edu), and you’ll find a tab that allows you to search for and preregister in 4 classes. Then click the validate button to make sure nothing conflicts. I think you have to have this done by June 16th.
Then, when we get to campus, we meet with our advisors to discuss our schedules, find out if we got into all of our classes, and formally register.</p>
<p>but once we get to the Williams campus, can we change classes/courses? or no?</p>
<p>Yes, I think so. You can switch before actually registering and there’s an add/drop period at the beginning of the semester.</p>
<p>You can change courses during the first two weeks of classes (add/drop) but it can be challenging to get into a course if it is already full from prereg. During First Days, you will take placement tests and that will, coupled with meeting with you advisor, help you determine/finalize the courses best for you.</p>
