Hello everyone,

I'm planning on taking the following classes next year as a sophmore but I'm not sure if I can handle it. Comments and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Ap World History
Precalculus
Ap Bio
Ap Physics C
Chemistry Honors
English 2 honors
Orchestra

My current gpa is a 4.0. weighted is 4.8

This should actually be posted on the College Admissions forum, not ACT Prep, moving.

AP physics C is supposed to require calculus as a prerequisite.

drop orchestra, unless your school orchestra is amazing. it doesn’t really provide a valuable experience at most schools, and instead, i would suggest joining a youth orchestra outside of school that performs at a much higher level, which is what i’m doing. replace it with an academic class if you can.
don’t do physics C if you don’t know any calculus yet!!!, other than that,
i think you’re fine. you will really really struggle in physics C without any knowledge of calculus.

Ap bio can be a LOT of work. And Physics is also not a good idea, especially without Calc. Shoot, I struggled in an honors physics without calc knowledge.

You aren’t taking a foreign language?

I’d drop AP Physics to take a foreign language. You should get two or three of them in at least “hope you already took one!”

As others said AP Physics C will be pretty hard to impossible without taking Calc yet. Save it for later, you have Chem Honors and AP Bio to worry about.
