<p>Yes, he saw what happened, but he believes that Jack sacrificed himself because that's what Elizabeth told him and couldn't see the handcuffs, at least that's the impression I got from seeing it.</p>

<p>i've heard johnny acknowledge the fact that sparrow has gayish tendencies, but i guarantee you johnny (and anyone working with POTC) has never said he's gay. that would not only kill the story line w/ eliz, but it would kill the whole movie empire as well.</p>

<p>barbosa come back at the end, meaning there's a better chance of saving jack and all the other drama that comes along with his character from the first film...you did see the first one right?</p>
<p>and the commadore wants the chest b/c it has the heart of davie jones. that douchebag (i forgot his name) that imprisoned elizabeth in the beginning of the movie wants the heart b/c that means he can control the seas. so by the commodore giving the douche the heart, he in turn gets to be freed and pardoned from helping elizabeth, jack, and will turner in the first movie.</p>
<p>barbossa comes back because after the credits of the first movie, the monkey takes a piece of gold, making all of them undead(?) again. so now barbossa's a human and can eat apples.</p>

<p>what he actually said was that back then, pirates might have been gay because out on the ocean, women werent around because they were considered bad luck, so who knows might have happened after several months out on the sea? one thing might have led to another, lol.</p>
