The other day, Pitt requested my tax information for financial aid purposes. I have not yet sent those documents in, but today Pitt put a financial aid offer in my account, and I have the option to accept or decline it. I’m really confused. Why did they offer me FA when they want more documents? Am I supposed to interact with that offer, or wait until the documents are processed?
@Hunterwhaley, I believe you still need to send in the information requested in order to finalize your award package. You can always feel free to call our office and ask to speak with a financial aid counselor to clarify if you have specific questions about your award or what they requested from you: 412-624-7488.

@Hunterwhaley, I would suggest that you call and clarify any questions you have with Financial Aid before taking action to accept/reduce/decline your aid. Hope that helps!
