I got accepted!! Still can’t believe this.

Cong!!! Still no news :frowning:

Congrats to everyone who got in!!! really bummed for not getting accepted but got wait listed so staying positive!! Good luck to everyone! :D

Congrats McMuffin!!!
I hope my package is not light, whenever it enters into Texas.
Have hope everyone for the ones still waiting on that bright orange packet like me!
~X( - try not to pull your hair out!

I’m an international student and I still didn’t receive any email (which they said they would send) …
I’m really nervous right now because I feel that I got rejected.

@wcxc96 I also didn’t receive the email.(I’m an international student) I also guess I was rejected. I even telephoned the FedEx to ask whether I have mail recent days. After their fuzzy search( cuz I don’t have tracking number) , they told me that they counldn’t find anything. :((

im sure they would notify rejections as well if they were to send emails which i hoped they would do yesterday. the wait seems like eternity!

Man, I wish they would just let us know what’s up. One thing I can’t stand is saying one thing and doing another. If they weren’t sure about the emails, then they should’ve just told us that. Ugh.

(I’m not mad, this whole college admissions thing is just a little frustrating!)

I know what you feel! The same to you… Since they said they would email all the international students yesterday, they should accomplish that.

Just received my letter in the mail; rejected! Good luck guys.

lol Totally agree. I think now I can accept both results! The long time let me think over and over again. I feel calm now.

Why they are doing this? a guy from nepal got acceptance on Friday and they are delaying till now for our email. Guys, i doubt that they sent all acceptance on friday and only remaining is rejection to notify, which they can do at any time they may have thought. I am totally frustrating and hopeless because one guy has already got in from nepal

@kkc0055 did he apply RD? by email?

ya, he got notification via email. Actually, he applied ED and deferred.

My son was accepted, but with no aid whatsoever. I plan to call them to appeal, since our EFC is well below their cost of attendance. I believe it’s the best fit available to him, but probably isn’t worth the difference from other schools that will cost anywhere from $10k to more than $35k less per year.

Accepted from New Delhi, India :))))))
If you are an international student and you have not received your email yet, you should email/call the office. This is what I did because for some reason it did not get sent to me the first time…

To those who were waitlisted: I don’t know how heavily Pitzer “over-accepts,” but my son will probably not accept their offer of admission for financial reasons. He has been offered several very generous scholarship offers elsewhere, and even Occidental met our EFC. Pitzer would be a near-perfect fit for him otherwise, but we will have trouble rationalizing the price-tag. I presume other families are in a similar situation. I had predicted that my son would be waitlisted for this very reason - a perfect academic fit, but they wouldn’t be able to provide any assistance. I suspect that is why Reed waitlisted him.

Like many of you, I was waitlisted. I’m pretty bummer, especially after visiting last week. Congrats to everyone who was accepted.

Wait listed RD: I’ve sent Pitzer letters for the past year and a half, contacted soccer coaches, etc. My ACT was a 30 (34 English, 29 Math, 11 Essay) and my GPA was a 3.96.

I expected a rejection, despite my inexplicable passion. I also received wait lists at Tulane and Kenyon, but acceptances at Occidental and Chapman.

I’ll probably choose between Oxy and Chap, then commit to Pitzer’s wait list.

Boy, what a ride this admissions process has been. Best of luck to all, and congrats to you acceptees!!!
