Pitzer College vs University of San Diego for Environmental Studies/Policy

Trying to decide between Pitzer and USD. Planning to study Environmental Studies/Policy. Tuition is not a factor.

Does anyone have any insight regarding these two schools? (ie. Academics, Campus Life/Activities, etc.)

Everything I’ve looked online just either shows stats or stereotypes. I understand stats can be important, and truthfully, most of them between theses two schools seems very similar in regards to retention, graduation, class size, etc.

Tbh, I don’t know anything about USD, but I can confidently say that the Pitzer stereotype is pretty accurate. If that fits your vibe, then great! If not, it’s tough there.

Since you apparently have an interest in the environment itself, you might want to consider Pitzer’s xeriscaping as an attribute in its favor.
