As a HS junior with a college list ready to go, the thing that concerns me most at this point is price. I haven't been able to find much about Pitzer's merit aid anywhere online; can anybody on here shed some light? Any help is much appreciated.

Pitzer, in general, does not give merit aid. In line with the school’s mission, all regular financial aid is need-based.

They have in the past awarded a limited number of “Trustee Community Scholarships” of $5,000 or so renewable for all four years, but there is no special application for this; they simply award a number of top admitted students the scholarship along with the admit letter.

To quote the Admission website:

“Pitzer offers a $5,000 merit-based Trustee Community Scholarship which is awarded to an exceptional group of entering first-year applicants. The scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate academic excellence combined with extraordinary community service, outstanding leadership, and/or exceptional talent. The award is renewable for four years. All first-year applicants who complete their application by the deadline are considered for the scholarship. There are no additional forms to fill out. If you are selected to receive this award, you will be notified in your letter of acceptance.”

Hope this answers your question!
