Pitzer not exactly subtle

Thanks to all of you for answering! I know I shouldn’t be worried since it was one of my last choices, and I got accepted by other universities… but it still is a rejection!
Anyway, I’m sure I’ll get over it soon! However, thanks a lot for answering! :)

BrookeDavis:
I’m in the same position. I only wanted to go to a Claremont, and I only got waitlisted at Pitzer and rejected afrom the others. I am devastated. And I know someone with lower stats than me, and I feel I am a better fit, but she plays soccer and applied early decision. She deserved to get in, but I believe I did too. My stats are

4.3 GPA (4.5 weighted academic) only one B, in IB Physics
2010 SAT
Ranked 18 out of 760
I was confident about my interview
8 AP classes (plus another weighted, but only honors)
5 on AP Bio eam
4 on AP Comp
750 SAT II Bio
strong 600s for English and math SAT IIs
awards in biology, German, and physics
VP of Green Club (2 hrs/week)
NHS, etc.

I’ll probably go to University of Redlands with a good scholarship, but I don’t like it there.

Is it alot tougher to get into Pitzer if you are female? The male/female ratio is 38/62%, which is very uneven. I wonder what the percentages are of male applicants/accepted to female applicants/accepted are. The acceptance rate overall is pretty low, approx 20%, but if it is broken down into sexes, is the admit rate much lower overall for women?
