Placement test?

I'm nerves about placement testing. They take your SAT writing score (which happens to be my worst score) so they will probably put me in the lower English classes. I'm worried it will put me behind for graduation. Is it possible just to take a extra credit or two Freshman yr if I get put into the lower English class so I can graduate on time?

PLACEMENT RECOMMENDATIONS

Placement in English composition is guided by a student’s score on the SAT writing exam (SAT-W) and the student’s background and goals.
SAT-W Placement
If your score is 620-800* Schedule ENGL 015 or ENGL 030. Use the guide below and consult with an adviser.
If your score is 460-619* Schedule ENGL 015.
If your score is 380-459* Schedule ENGL 015 or ENGL 004. Use the guide below and consult with an adviser.
If your score is 200-379* Schedule ENGL 004 before scheduling ENGL 015.
If you have no score Use the guide below and consult with an adviser.

*Students with scores that are near placement cutoffs should use the guide below and consult with an academic adviser.

If at all possible take English 15 because English 4 does not satisfy degree requirements.

Good luck!

Which placement tests does Penn State have?

I know they do math and chemistry. Not sure about others.
