<p>Does Duke have placement tests for like foreign language and other departments for incoming freshmen? I was kind of hoping to place out of spanish (i've taken it for 6 years including AP Spanish). Any information about placement would be wonderful! Thank you</p>
<p>yes, there are placement tests, but you cannot get out of the language requirement if in trinity - the tests just tell you what level to take. if you're that sick of spanish, take a different language!</p>
