Hello, I am planning on going into Journalism school or majoring in Communications.
Here's a list of schools I'm considering:

-Northwestern
- U of Maryland-College Park
-U of Michigan
-Mizzou
-U of Florida
-BU
-Emerson (iffy)
-Syracuse (iffy)

I know there aren't any West Coast schools on here, but I live in the New England area, so it's a bit far away for me.
What other schools should I consider?

I’d say Northwestern’s Medill School is the premier J School in the country; however, Mizzou has an outstanding program as well. Both schools have large alumni groups that will provide for great networking opportunities in the future.

With NYC being the United States’ journalism hub, NYU is a good option. Columbia is considered by many to have the finest journalism graduate program; however, they do not have an undergraduate program.

As previously mentioned, Syracuse’s program has a good reputation, as do the programs at quite a few state U’s, e.g. Arizona State, Wisconsin, and North Carolina.

Also, USC’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism is well regarded.
