ranking of best communications schools? (not really interested in journalism)

I go to mizzou now, but was just wondering if there was any rankings of communications schools.

I know the journalism school here at mizzou is amazing, but I am probably going to switch to a communications major (to be in the political and mass communications sequence). Is mizzou's communications school any good? Where could I find ranking/rating of communications schools?

thanks

I don't know if one exists. I know Syracuse has one that is really good.

Boston University's College of Communication is very good, and has a number of programs other than Journalism.

The University of Texas also has a good Communications school.

University of Maryland is supposed to also be good, but Syracuse has a really good reputation

Northwestern has a very good communications school.

Welcome, School of Communication, Northwestern University

The journalism program has its own school (Medill School of Journalism)

USC is also extremely good. (Annenberg)

The Annenberg School of Communications is well worth investigating. Majors within the school are: Commnication, Broadcast Journalism, Print Journalism and Public Relations.

Dr. Henry Jenkins, now at MIT, will join the faculty this summer. There is an article about him in SC Forum. His comments regarding Annenberg are worth reading.

Here is the SC website: USC - University of Southern California Use the search feature to learn more about Annenberg.

Is University of Alabama’s School of Communication any good? Like does it have a good reputation?

There’s a PhD ranking here: [Doctoral Program Reputational Study](<a href=“National Communication Association |”>National Communication Association |)

Both of these schools are not only highly ranked in journalism, but communications as well. All the rest of the top schools Annenberg at USC and Syracuse etc., are included in other posts.
