Places to NAP

Does anyone know some good indoor places to get some rest on a couch or long seat between classes? (besides Powell) :D

Under the shades of some big tree right outside the Powell Library. You would need is some cover to block your face.

The Powell Libraray used to be my favorite place to get some nap, that is, until I discovered the Nature.

Here you go.

You can sleep in:

PAB on either the first or second floor. (Haven’t scouted the other floors)
Long cushioned bench-like seats.
Downside: Can get noisy with all the physics people waiting to get into lecture if you sleep outside of the main lecture room (1425?). If you sleep on the bench near the door facing Franz, it can get noisy with the occasional or frequent people entering or exiting the building. (Though hasn’t bothered me last time I slept there, knocked out for a good 2+ hours.) This only applies to the first floor. Haven’t tried sleeping on the second floor, though I remember seeing cushioned benches.

SAC
Somewhere in the middle of the 1st floor (or whatever floor’s the lowest), there looks like a lot of places you can try sleeping. When I walked through there a while back, I saw some guy sleeping there. (Laying down, rather than sitting up uncomfortably, and it was quite dark too.)

… That’s about it for the comfy places I know (besides Powell).

^ don’t sleep where there is a lot of traffic or there will a lot of people waiting around. Chances are that people want to sit down, but some son of a ***** is sleeping on the seats.

Law library isn’t bad if you can get in. Powell is awesome for naps (stacks, reading room, magazine room). ESUC lounge for engineers. Sometimes engineering V couches.

^^ Yeah, I try not to do so in the middle area. It gets too loud to sleep anyways when there’s a lot of people.
