Plan 2 Honors?

Hello Everyone!

I'm really confused as to which majors I should apply for. I would love to double major in computer science along with a business degree. But I'm also interested in the Plan 2 Honors program. Is it worth it to sacrifice one of my majors so that I can get into plan 2? Is it possible to do all 3 and still have time for a social life? Maybe it'd be best if I just do honors business + computer science? Sorry if i sound all over the place but i'm having a minor panic attack lol!

Plan II has a lot of special classes that cannot be substituted by AP/ IB /dual credit. You have to take them at UT. [Plan II Honors Program](<a href=“Curriculum | Plan II Honors Program | Liberal Arts | UT - Austin”>Curriculum | Plan II Honors Program | Liberal Arts | UT - Austin)
Thus triple majoring is difficult (you cannot claim most of the credits that other students can). Social life is questionable.

CS has 3 types of degree : BS, BA and new BSA.

Turing Scholars program is for BS only. If you are going to double major in CS and Business, CNS/CS department will try to put you on BSA track. BSA has an Honors option (new this year) called Polymathic Scholars. [Polymathic Scholars](http://cns.utexas.edu/honors/honors-programs-center/polymathic-scholars)
You can use your AP/ IB /dual credits.

From my point of view if you can get into CNS Honors and Business Honors you don’t need Liberal Arts Plan II.

^^^ Thank you so much! That’s honestly the best answer I could have gotten. I’ll have to look into the Polymathic Scholars, that definitely seems like the best fit for me.

You are welcome.
Plan II is a good major if you want to go to graduate school (MBA etc).
If you have plans for graduate school you have second option:
Plan II + Polymathic Scholars (with Minor in Business, no Business major).
