So I am thinking of going into Dentistry major but since you have to do really well in overall % to get accepted . I am afraid that I’ll not get accepted to it . I don’t know what’s plan B if I didn’t get accepted for it
I don’t want to go to Medicine because it’s a lot harder and more expensive that my family can afford.
I am bad in physics so that cancels out engineering.
At first I was interested in Business management but after looking into it I found out that there is way too many graduates than jobs available in my region so I cancelled out on that. I am most likely going somewhere in the business section if not dentistry
Do you like math? Actuarial Science is very solid, if you’d be content working with numbers all day. It’s a stand alone at some schools, and a concentration of accounting at others.
I don’t understand how you can think of dentistry as affordable but medicine as harder and more expensive. Dental school costs about the same as medical school, and is the same length of time. I’d also imagine that dental students take many of the same kinds/levels of classes as medical students, so I’m not sure an MD is necessarily harder.
You also can’t major in dentistry as an undergraduate (in the U.S., at least. Are you not in the U.S.?). At a few colleges, you can major in dental hygiene and become a dental hygienist. Do you maybe mean dental hygiene?
Your major isn’t necessarily deterministic of your career, so there are lots of other majors that you can select that can help you get into careers with good markets.
