Plan on transferring, need advice on schools!

Hello! This is my first post, and to whoever reads this, thanks for the help!

I am a high school senior, and I have a unique situation. I didn't try my first two years of high school, and didn't do that well, and it wasn't until my junior year when I started doing well and getting hundreds, so I was wondering what you guys thought the colleges im applying to now are ok, and what schools I should apply to when I want to transfer

As of now a have a 3.2, but only because I had high seventies my first two years

Reading: 620
Math: 610
Writing:600

ACT: 31

I am appliyng to (New Yorker btw):

SUNY Stony Brook
SUNY Buffalo
UMass
Norwich University
Siena
Ithaca
Polytechnic Institute of NYU

and others

But the real problem is what schools i want to transfer to, because I am going for physics, and if I cam keep the GPA I had first quarter of my senior year (3.67) I think I can get into some pretty good schools, what do you guys think?

There is a whole forum just for transfer issues. You can find it by clicking on “Discussion Home” in the upper-left of this screen and scrolling down. Take the time to read through the thread at the top titled “Transfer Admissions 101”. You will find many useful ideas there.

Find a small school, like Juniata College in PA, that has a strong reputation. Stay there for four years and then go on to grad school.

you’re planning on transferring and you’re not even in college yet??! that’s kind of ridiculous…just see where you get in first before you start planning wayyyyy ahead
