PLAN test results

I think the posters are perfectly aware of the differences. Example post 37- a 24 on the plan would put you nowhere near a predicted 32 on the real act. Same goes for post 39, see predicted score and actual score.

I took it last year- soph- and got a 31. My score report didn't even have a predicted ACT score range!!!

But strangly, it did predit which sections I would do best in. When I took the ACT, I got a 36 in E,R,S (scored 32 on the PLAN) and a 34 in M (scored 30 on the PLAN). It was a little bit scary :)

I received a 24 on it as a sophomore and the test predicted my ACT score to be in the 26-30 range. My real ACT result was a 34. So if you get a low predicted score, don't worry about it.

Do you just take the PLAN 'cold' or use an ACT review book/practice tests for the PLAN?

this is encouraging for me...

i got a 26 composite
but i think sometimes your composite doesn't matter as much to how u did in certain sections
like i got a 21 on the reading which was my lowest
but a 31 composite on math
26 english and 25 science

for all you sophomores: Get the hell off this website, go play with your friends (that is, if you have any), start studying for the ACT from time to time, and then come back to this website after you have taken the ACT. I'm sorry for being rude, but you're sophomores; no one gives a damn about plan tests.

Composite: 27
English: 24
Math: 31
Reading: 24
Science: 30

Predicted ACT Range: 28-32

Gotta improve my overall reading/english skills before my ACT this spring.

to any sophomore who is freaking out about their "projected ACT score" from the PLAN test:

don't. it means nothing. even if it ends up being right, it means nothing. come into the ACT with an open mind and score as high as possible, not just "as high as my projected score will let me."

I got a composite score of a 30 on the plan test. I probably should take the ACT but I've already taken the SAT, planning on taking it again in March (almost a week away) and I'm just sick of standardized tests.... Oh well!

plan test was accurate for me. it predicted a 30 and i got a 31.

My plan test said I would get a 21 or 22 I think. I'm a Junior now and took my ACTs a month or so ago. I got a 27.

bumppppppppppppppp

Personally, I wouldn’t pay too much attention to your PLAN scores.

My projected range was 22-26, but my actual ACT scores so far are 27 and 30.

composite: 28

29, 30, 27, 27

act estimate: 29-33

@tsh1226

hell no dude

socializing=hard

test taking=easy

I’ll stick with what I know ;)

How long does it usually take to get back PLAN results?

what did you use to study for that last week before the ACT?
