Plan to become successful pediatrician?

<p>Which college would be best for me to go to / which would I be able to get into?
- 4.5 out of 5 gpa (4.5 = A, according to my school)
- many activities, community service
- waiting on my sat scores now actually, but psats were 1850, before any sat classes</p>

<p>what can i do to make myself stand out to colleges?
*in a good way :)</p>

<p>What should I major in?
Should I definitely go to a school with a pre-med track or program?
Is it helpful to do those programs like NYLF in medicine?
Are there any competitions related to a math or science field that I could try to enter?</p>

<p>any other information you think may help me is welcomed and appreciated :)</p>

740 math
710 writing (75 mc, 8 essay)
550 critical reading</p>

<p>I know the reading score is really bad, but this was only the first time I took the SAT…so I plan on taking it again in June…focusing more on my critical reading. :)</p>

<p>Somehow your GPA (stellar) doesn’t exactly match with your SAT score (not-so stellar). I’d recommend studying hard and retaking before it’s too late.</p>
