Even though I am aware that these are completely loaded questions, I’ll bite:

They are charged with 2 murders because they ended 1 life and 1 possible life without the mothers consent.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I am in support of those abortions.

I believe that it should be kept secret as some parents might kick their daughter out of their house if they had knowledge of what the daughter had done.

I fully support the US constitution.

Yes, I did some work at a local clinic and watched a recovering (hopefully, at least) meth addict have an abortion and I thank God every day that she did because of the awful life the baby would have led otherwise. Living as an unwanted “thing” that drains her mothers meth fund until the mother realizes she can’t sustain her meth addiction and her child. Guess which one wins?? Not the emotionally disturbed child, that’s for sure.

If you claim that I ask loaded questions, then why not ask me some?

Connor, I also asked why some pro-abortionists are against third trimester abortions.

I also love how you assume the role of parent and decide that abortions should be kept secret against their parents. Are you not in favor of punishment? You can’t legally kick out your 13 year old daughter, there are many other options. You assume “some parents”, they can’t legally kick out their minor daughter.

I also love how you assume that the life of the supposed “meth” addict’s son or daughter would have been terrible. So your proposal is to kill them now because they’re going to have a hard life. You automatically assume that the child will never have a happy moment in his or her life because of the mother. So according to your logic, those with mental disabilities should not live because of the “awful life” the child would have had. There are so many holes in your logic. I’m going to assume just as you did that you made that entire story up. I wasn’t aware minors were allowed to work in abortion clinics.

If you actually did work in an abortion clinic as a minor, without some sort of medical degree seeing as you are just about to graduate high school, then good for you. I find it funny they let a 17 year old witness an abortion first hand without a proper medical background. I’m surprised they let you in the operating room, and I’m surprised the supposed “meth addict” let you watch her. All this gives me great reason to believe you pulled the story out of your behind. I loved how you also thank God everyday because the woman had an abortion. Shame on you, pathetic hypocrite. Case closed until you prove to me otherwise.

The whole sob story about meth addicts comprises a small percentage of all abortions. It’s an ANOMALY.

Anomaly or not, it still happened and I’m not 17, but 18 and I personally know the Doctor who performs the abortions and the woman who received the abortion. She happens to be my cousin who has had a history of mistakes in her life, including not knowing which of her partners produced the sperm that led to her pregnancy. And any example is immediately named a sob story?? You asked a question and I answered. And legal or not, parents are certainly capable of kicking out their children.

So you rescind your former statement about you witnessing first hand the abortion?
Or let me guess, your cousin invited you to witness her abortion? You can’t build an argument over lies, it doesn’t work that way.

It’s still illegal to kick a minor out your household, but there are other options. If you make a mistake, you have to accept the consequences of those actions. I’m not going to let any child be coaxed into an abortion without proper guidance of either parent/guardian or someone in the family. It seems you are in high favor of secrecy and things being done behind closed doors. Let’s hope your future children don’t end up in a situation where they have to sneak behind your back to have an abortion, but then again you are in favor of secrecy. (The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree on this one)

And I will answer the question of your example. You could have given me a million other examples, but you chose the sob story route.

Sob story - A tale of personal hardship or misfortune intended to arouse pity.

Your description seems to fit the bill.

Also why make so many assumptions?
Assuming the baby of your cousin will have a hard life.
Assuming the parents will kick the minor out of the house.
Assuming the baby of your cousin would not want to live because of his/her mother.

I have been lurking on this thread and will put my 2 cents worth in and then butt out.
Both sides have interesting points- what it comes down to for me is a woman has to have the right to choose what she does with her body. If you don’t believe in abortion, don’t have one- it’s your right to choose. But it’s wrong to tell someone else what to do- people have different religious and/or scientific beliefs about when life begins, etc, and we all have to be tolerant of different viewpoints. But in the end we all should have a right to choose what is best for us as individuals.

There is no doubt that everyone agrees that abortions should be avoided at all costs. Planned Parenthood included. I believe our energy and $$ should be put to educating people about safe and responsible sex and all that relates to bringing children into the world and the responsibilities that go along with it. It is also necessary, when abortion is the only answer for a person’s circumstances, that they are able to have the procedure done safely.

In the end, for me, it’s having the freedom to choose and I believe that is the message the video reinforces.

I’m guessing everyone who posted political stuff is a parent…take a chill pill…this is college confidential. The video was posted b/c it is an example of the hard work of a few Wesleyan film students, not b/c the poster was interested in a political debate! Seriously, leave that for some Yahoo Government forum…
