Well, the weather here in the DC/Annapolis area is forecasted to be very wet this weekend with flash flood watches being posted. The long range forecast for next week indicates that the weather will remain unsettled. Upper 80s with about a 40% chance of showers/thunderstorms for Wednesday. Be prepared for humid conditions and dress comfortably, shorts and cool shirts. Hats, sunscreen and small plastic ponchos would be good to bring. Of course, these items are also available in the Mid Store. Casual clothes are completely appropriate for all of the day's activities. Be sure to attend the picnic on Worden Field and the Sup's briefing that follows. Enjoy yourselves, take pictures and have a great time! It is a very impressive place and you will experience it yourselves on I-Day. Enjoy these last days of freedom. For all of the parents, don't be surprised if your Plebe-to-be becomes quiet and withdraws during the last couple of days. My Mid remained talkative and slept like a rock the night before I-Day but I know of many that did not. Just be prepared for whatever comes your way. See you at the picnic on Wednesday!
