My D is a junior and is fascinated with plant chemistry, particularly leading to plant medicine. She would like to pursue a degree in something that would allow her to do research and work on medicines based on plant chemistry. I have searched and not found anything except graduate degrees. Is anyone familiar with an undergrad degree or have any advice on whether she should choose biochemistry, botany, or something we haven't yet considered? She will of course be ultimately pursuing grad/PHD degree.
Any suggestions for schools, as well?

If she is going to pursue a PhD, specialization in something like plant chemistry / plant medicine would occur in grad school. Undergraduates will typically take a much more generalized area. Biochemistry would likely fit her best. For example physics majors may decide to go into medical physics when they go to grad school but they don’t necessarily do that in undergrad.
