Vegetarian since I was 10, by choice much to my parent’s dismay (just random, haha…ignore)

I wanted to be an artist since I was little, but due to experiencing a bad time in my life I ended up changing my mind a little more than a year ago. It sort of affected my grades and my commitment to school (wanting to be an art major and all) and the transition was a little difficult, so I’m planning to write about that in my college essay. I’m also very into my cultural background, medicine and international relations.

your culturalness (word? no) and EC's will hopefully do the trick...

your SATs are a little low.. get them up about 50-60 pts to make them average, so the admin. officers wont have any doubts about your academic ability. Same with your GPA... raise it to at least a 3.85 UW and you should have a decent chance.

high reach.

oh and your course load is super impressive... so the GPA shouldnt be that much of a problem.
Correction Reach.

Apart from the 3.8 UW GPA, I'd definitely say that you have a chance. Your EC's, volunteer and research work, and cultural awareness make you highly well rounded.

I really don't think a 3.8 UW is a problem. Mine was 3.97 weighted (probably 3.7 something unweighted) and I was accepted ED.
