<p>So far I got into: UCM, UCR, UCSD, SDSU, Cal poly (ponoma), SJSU
Waiting on: UCSB, UCSC, UCD, UCI(-.-), UCB
Rejected: UCLA, Cal poly SLO</p>

<p>But anyway, if you got accepted to UCSD, then you have a great chance of getting into UCI.</p>
<p>Thank you for asking lunallion :). I am very grateful for UCSD to accept me. Btw thanks CruxSC for ur comment, forgot to say that on my post. There are many reasons.</p>
<p>1)I put down business admin/econ for UCI and i would prefer that major over communication
2)I love being in socal(I am aware SD is in socal also -.-) But I like the surrounding of UCI and how its near alot of places to go to and to see.
3)I’d prob feel intimidated going to UCSD when I’m with a bunch of smart people and I’d probably feel a bit dumb if I’m there
4)Originally I wanted to go to UCI in the first place
5)The rankings arent that far apart in the first place so I don’t think it matters much
6)My parents are equally happy to whichever one I want to go to, since they werent expecting UCSD or UCI to accept me.
7)Ok this one isnt that important(Alot of my friends are also going to UCI <.<)</p>

- It has a higher ranking
- I like the area
- Most of my friends are going there/got accepted</p>
<p>I know friends shouldn’t be important in choosing your college but…basically I just feel really left out and stupid when all of my friends get accepted and I’m the only one waitlisted. :(</p>
<p>XD np lunallion. Although I got in UCSD, I’m getting nervous for the mid tier UCs. I really have good impressions for UCD especially 
(THEY ARE REALLY FRIENDLY PEOPLE). UCI (Starting to lose its appeal because of the long wait still…though I want to be accepted, think my hardship will persuade them to accept me :).) UCSB (Beautiful Campus, and it’ll be pretty cool if I went there since I’ll be the first person out of all my friends and family friends who went there :D).</p>
<p>Well I got in for Economics…and honestly even though I got in, I’m pretty mad about hearing so late. I think I’m gonna stick with UCSD or UCD or UCSB whichever has the best communication major</p>

<p>I just want to say thank you for all the feedbacks from everyone 
and I will be attending UCB this fall and I encourage future applicants to apply to every UC even if you think you won’t get in, because you never know what the results will turn out to be :D.</p>

<p>no congrats on your accomplishments. it gives us all hope. i meant to ask what your main arguments were regarding your hardships: your eye and grandmother? how did you argue the sufferage and how it affected your grades?</p>

<p>well cuz i have an extremely similar situation so i just want to get some insight from a sucessful applicant. i understand, it is personal. those two universities are so differnt yet so similar at the same time.</p>
