I hope this is enough information. tell me if I forgot anything to help you chance more accurately. Thanks again.

I’d say an excellent shot since your instate. Keep in mind W&M, although lower ranked is actually more competitive than UVA for admissions. I’d say that although you will most likely be in at one of these institutions, I would call it a high match for both. I don’t know how UVA feels about uncles and aunts as far as legacy is concerned, but I doubt it could hurt you

Decent shot- GPA & ACT not stellar, but you’re not applying to Harvard or anything. You should be fine. Good luck! Oh, and your impressive list of EC’s will definitely help.
Chance back!!

Your extracurriculars are amazing. Because you have very strong extra curriculars and it seems like you really have some true passions, I think both schools are high match/low reach for you. I don’t think your gpa and scores will be too big of a deal because they are still quite good, just not stellar.

The difference between the two is negligible. There are NUMEROUS kids who are accepted to UVA and not W&M and vice versa; however, here is admission data from W&M Admission:

Definitely in though. You are in-state which is a help, and your ACT isn’t perfect but it is definitely good enough. That’s the only thing I see hurting you if anything

I think you sound like you have a good shot, but I don’t you count as a legacy, so there goes your hook. I think to qualify as a legacy a grandparent, parent, or sibling needs to have gone, but I could very well be wrong. If I am right though, there is nothing to worry about!

I think the fact that you are a legacy(kinda) will work in your favor. You are on the fringe of being in, but that might push you over. Your test scores are above average, and your GPA is good. Your EC’s are pretty impressive, and the fact that you go to a prestigious high school will definitely give you a boost.
