Ivies are incredibly unpredictable. Not only that, but your ECs don’t really stand out. What are you truly committed and passionate about? However your stats and scores are definitely good. Look into a few more safeties just incase. Work hard on your essays! Also, try not to “count” your leadership positions. It’s about quantity, not quality. Focus on what you’re passionate about rather than if you have enough of something.

People on CC can get a bit crazy with their SAT scores, but anything over 2100 is pretty good. The higher the better. I think you’ll get into the majority of the non-Ivies if not all, and you have a very very good shot at Cornell. Brown is more picky in my opinion. Best of luck.

I think you’re qualified enough. The really top schools are all crapshoots. But academically, like I said, you’re qualified enough, and do have some impressive ECs.

if you can bring your SAT up a little higher, i would say you have a great shot at a lot of these schools. you have great ECs and you do have good leadership! your school is HUGE! my class is about 476 but top 5% is perfect. you obviously would have the best shot at Cornell ED because the ED acceptance rate last year was about 35%

First, I’d like to say that Brown ED confers no advantage so don’t apply there. I think the other EDs are okay.

Academics: Weaker category. SATs are pretty low for top schools. Additionally, class rank is not that great considering the top 10 get into ivies and you’re not close to it. SAT IIs are also weak (Chinese doesn’t count). Even AP scores aren’t great.

ECs: Dearth of not that much leadership and dearth of focus. Might be excusable to a degree, but it does not by any stretch make up for weak academics.

As i see it, all the schools on your list are reaches.

if youre using ed as a tool, id say go for cornell or northwestern with it since youd have the best shot there, but i think you should honestly use it for wherever you want to go most.

I think you have very decent stats, but like some have said a few of your ECs don’t look like you’ve committed. However, your speech/debate aspects of your list are decently impressive. As with that, I will go to the rankings.
