<p>I am currently a freshman in college and i am applying to these school for the fall of my sophomore year. If someone could please chance me as a transfer for these schools I would appreciate it! </p>

<p>-UPenn (Hooks: Double Legacy, Dad used to work there for about 12 years but no longer does, mom currently has a part time job there)
-NYU
-Boston University
-Cornell University
-Occidental College
-Tufts University
-Northeastern University</p>

<p>High School
GPA: 3.79 (4.2 Scale) (I have no idea what this is on a 4.0 scale but I don't think it's that great :/ )
Extracurriculars
-Founder/ President of the Physics club
-Founder/ President of the Comedy Club
-Varsity Tennis team all 4 years
-Varsity Golf team 2 years</p>

<p>College
GPA: 3.85
Major: Neuroscience
Extracurriculars
-American Medical Student Association
-Alpha Epsilon Delta (my schools chapter, not nationally)</p>

<p>ACT: I have not taken yet (will in February) but I have taken practice tests and I score around 28-29 (Low I know, I'm a horrible standardized test taker)</p>

<p>Volunteer:
-Pre-Med program at Pennsylvania Hospital (this is a part of the Penn Medicine system I don't know if this will help at all with admission to Penn. I doubt it though.) I believe I have at least 200 hours of service.
-Soccer Coach for the Clark Park Youth Soccer League</p>

<p>I think that you should make a decent candidate for the above schools. You have a few ECs but you’ve shown to be devoted to them. You’re GPA is a tad bit low, but did you take the hardest classes available? Colleges nowadays prefer academic rigor to grades. Overall you fall in the range to all of the above schools. Since you’re a freshman in college you should state your college gpa, classes taken in addition to the stuff you already have above, and maybe why you are transferring. Usually they don’t let students transfer until you have completed two year at said college. Good luck.</p>

<p>Thanks for responding! haha umm well fortunately for Penn which is my top choice as far as transfers go they prefer students who are transferring into their sophomore year so that’s good; Yeah I definitely plan on submitting college GPA thanks! Ok I’m about to chance you haha oh and well for courses… I have taken a few AP’s but not a huge amount. However, all of the courses at my high school are considered advanced and my high school is ranked in the top 10 schools in my state.</p>
