OP, much of your chances are based on you college GPA. You don’t have one.

That is true AnnieBeats. What if I get a 3.8+? What will my chances be then?

bump???

bump

First of all, why didnt u applu to northwestwen and notre dame and etc. in high school!?

Second, I notice a lot of TEAM awards on your resume. (Unless they aren’t and are individual awards, in which case see my first sentence.)

Even though you are captain and etc. , team awards do have less potency than individual stuff so watch out for that. I have no idea for chances are for transfer students though so…bump ( I dunno what bump means just like saying it :))

I thought that I wouldn’t get it, that’s why :neutral_face: But, hopefully I’ll get a 3.8+ this year!

:)

Bump, please?

BUMP!

bump

I would say that overall if you’ve got your projected 3.8 you could put together a pretty good app! Unfortunately/fortunately, as far as I can tell High School accomplishments mean much less when you apply as a Rising Junior. If you do well in college the contrast between your high school grades will look impressive, and show that you’ve thrived in a college setting. But your High School EC’s won’t be as important (With the possible exception of the nationally acclaimed variety, which are eternally impressive). I’d say do some EC’s in college, maybe focus on a specific area so they get a real sense of what you can uniquely contribute to the school, and you can probably expect at least one on your list to take you!

Thank you for the advice, Jeters! However, I want to apply this year, so I would be an incoming sophomore
:slight_smile: Sorry for not mentioning that

@Jeters

Like someone else mentioned, your EC’s are mostly team accomplishments which don’t mean as much as individual accomplishments. Additionally, you have A LOT of scattered community service which doesn’t add to your application, it actually could detract from it and appear as if you are “stuffing” your app. Why you want to transfer is the most important part of the app. Take some time to think about that. Colleges want to see that you’ve matured.
